Early in my career, I realized I was best suited to building an organization’s public image and designing creative communications strategies. Moving from human resources into communications, and then launching myself as an independent content consultant in 2012, I initially found my niche writing blogs and managing social media platforms. Growing in my content and project management skills, I built a wide variety of clientele ranging everywhere, and in between, builders, banks and bars. Pursuing my goal to grow more knowledgeable in the digital marketing and content branding fields, I graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University, with a Master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications.
Homegrown in Pittsburgh, the daughter of an ENERGY STAR builder-father and a realtor-mother, I stayed true to my roots and joined the Home Performance Coalition (HPC) as the Director of Marketing and Communications. At HPC, I continue to strategize, publicize and transform media messaging for an eclectic audience of home performance, energy-efficient aficionados including contractors, programmers, legislators, and policy-focused professionals.
I am an associate member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and an active member of PRSA’s local Pittsburgh chapter. For more about me or the work I do, please contact me.
